Our chapter was charterd in 1989 when it absorbed the local sorority Delta Sigma Kappa at Western Maryland college. [more information to come]
Phi Mu
Phi Mu was founded in 1852 as the Philomathean Society, at Wesleyan Colege in Macon, Georgia, by Mary DuPont Lines, Mary Myrick Daniel, and Martha Hardaway Redding. In 1904, the Philomathean Society became the national greek organization Phi Mu, with the group at Wesleyan as the Alpha Chapter of the Phi Mu Fraternity. Phi Mu is the second oldest women's fraternity.
